Center for Early Childhood Studies

The center for Early Childhood Studies adds an important dimension to training student educators while providing a high-quality pre-school for the community's children. This hands-on laboratory offers college students real-life situations to practice teaching methods and the most current teaching strategies, as modeled by outstanding practitioners.

Student interns are not the only beneficiaries of the new facility. The 160 3-5 year-olds who attend the school receive an exceptional foundation that enhances their learning throughout their lives.

Together with Raul J. Guerra Early Childhood Center, which has welcomed infants through preschool-age children since 1981, the $5 million center allows the College to triple the number of children served.
