Program Objective
- To recognize full-time or part-time employees who have exhibited exemplary customer service and have gone beyond the expected to provide noteworthy service to the College.
Selection Criteria
Nominees for this recognition should demonstrate a combination of the following:
- Exemplary customer service particularly while maintaining the integrity of others.
- Significant contributions to the department or division in presentations, committee work, or projects particularly with innovative strategies or ideas.
- Noteworthy service to the specific department or division particularly in the areas of collaboration, teamwork, compassion, and service to others.
- Willingness to assist others beyond normal expectations.
- Promotion of an atmosphere of success, particularly by empowering, engaging, and educating others to achieve personal or professional goals.
Eligibility Criteria, Frequency, and Type
- Nominations may be made by any full-time or part-time employee of the College.
- Nominees must be full-time or part-time employees of the College.
- An employee must have been employed for at least six (6) months with the College at the time of the nomination to be eligible for recognition.
- Recognition awards will be presented at the Fall Convocation.
Nomination and Selection Process
- Nominators may not remain anonymous.
- Nominees must be full-time or part-time employees of the College.
- The nomination form will include at least the following:
- Employee's name, position, division, department, TSC email, TSC phone number, full-time or part-time status, and employee classification.
- Nominator's name, position, division, department, TSC email, TSC phone number, and full-time or part-time status, and employee classification.
- Answers to questions 1-5 (four to ten sentences each) A great nomination will contain specific examples about the nominee and will address how the nominee meets the criteria for this award.
- How did this employee demonstrate exemplary customer service?
- How did this employee make significant contributions to the College particularly with innovative strategies or ideas?
- How did this employee provide noteworthy service to the College in the areas of collaboration, teamwork, compassion, and service to others?
- How did this employee show willingness to assist beyond normal expectations?
- How did this employee promote an atmosphere of success, particularly by empowering, engaging, and educating others to achieve personal or professional goals?
- The nomination forms will be submitted by electronic submission.
- Nomination deadline will be the first Monday in May, however, extensions may be necessary.
- The Office of Human Resources will compile and review the nomination forms to ensure the criteria are met and will remove all identifiers from the nomination form prior to submission to the Selection Committee.
- The Selection Committee, appointed by the President, will review and score the nomination forms using a 20-point scoring system (maximum 5 points for each question). A committee member cannot be a person nominated.
