Rodriguez starts as TSC’s new VP of Institutional Advancement

melinda-rodriguezTexas Southmost College (TSC) named Melinda Rodriguez, CFRE, as the new Vice President of the recently created Division of Institutional Advancement and Workforce Training.

Formerly the President and CEO of the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce from 2015-16, Rodriguez started her new post at TSC on October 10.

Texas Southmost College broke a record for enrollment in fall 2016 when the college reached 5,051 students. Texas Southmost College (TSC) reached a milestone this fall by breaking the 5,000-student enrollment mark for the first time since TSC re-opened in fall 2013.

TSC remembers 9/11 tragedy with ceremony

After a moment of silence in memory of the victims of the 9/11 tragedy, the sound of bag pipes filled the North and South Courtyard on Sept. 12, 2016 as the Brownsville Firefighters Pipes and Drums Honor Guard concluded Texas Southmost College's Remembrance Day ceremony with their rendition of "Amazing Grace."
