EMS Students and faculty gathered to help raise awareness of Alzheimer's disease by participating in the Alzheimer's walk. The students raised nearly $200 to be used for research into this debilitating illness.

Boo at the Zoo 2013
The EMS students volunteered at the annual “Boo at the Zoo” event held at the Gladys Porter Zoo in Brownsville Texas. The students spent two evenings handing out candy to the community.  Some of the students had the help of the manikin in giving candy out, and participated in the event by dressing up, or adding EMS props.
