Substance Abuse and Title IX Prevention and Awareness Programming

The Office of Counseling and Student Accessibility Resources not only provides treatment for drug and alcohol abuse, but we know the importance of promoting awareness. We provide a variety of educational programming regarding drug and alcohol prevention and awareness, such as Collegiate Drug and Alcohol Awareness and Prevention Event in the fall and the Spring Break Safety Conference in the spring. If you are dealing with substance abuse issues, please know that we care. You can make an appointment with our office at 956-295-3417 or seek outside help from one of the resources listed on our Mental Health Resources / Off-Campus page.

The Office of Counseling and Student Accessibility Resources also knows the importance of awareness regarding topics related to Title IX issues, such as dating violence, domestic violence, and sexual assault. Please look out for our education programs, such as Domestic Violence Conference, Love is Not Abuse, and the Mental Health Awareness Conference.
