Early Childhood program ‘Jump with Jill’
Preschoolers at the Texas Southmost College Raúl J. Guerra Early Childhood Center danced and sang with the “Jump with Jill” performers to learn about eating healthy and following proper nutrition.Preschoolers at the Texas Southmost College Raúl J. The Texas Southmost College (TSC) Raúl J. Guerra Early Childhood Center was jumping with children laughing and dancing to the “Jump with Jill” performance that visited the college in late October.

Art students awarded for downtown murals at competition
TSC art students Lourdes María Ong, Cristina Garza and Margarito Saucedo were selected as winners of the Capitol Theatre Street-Art Competition during the 20th Annual Brownsville Latin Jazz Festival this fall. The three art students competed as part of the TSC Artisan Syndicate Art Club and were recognized by the Board of Trustees during the October 2016 meeting.TSC art students Lourdes María Ong, Cristina Garza and Margarito Saucedo were selected as winners of the Capitol Theatre Street-Art Competition during the 20th Annual Brownsville Latin Jazz Festival this fall. The three art students competed as part of the TSC Artisan Syndicate Art Club and were recognized by the Board of Trustees during the October 2016 meeting.

A trio of Texas Southmost College (TSC) Artisan Syndicate Art Club students were among seven winning artists awarded for their murals at the Capitol Theatre Street-Art Competition during the 20th Annual Brownsville Latin Jazz Festival this fall.

Texas Southmost College announced the second annual Raúl Alcalá Bike Ride Challenge – Gran Fondo at a news conference on Oct. 26, 2016 at the ITEC Center. Texas Southmost College (TSC), in partnership with the Mexican Consulate in Brownsville and surrounding partner cities, announced at a news conference on Oct. 26, 2016 that the college will host the second annual Raúl Alcalá Bike Ride Challenge – Gran Fondo at the TSC ITEC Center on Nov. 6.
