The Texas Southmost College Business Services Office is responsible for the overall accounting and financial reporting services for the college. The mission of this office includes:

• Maintaining an effective internal control environment to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles as well as relevant federal and state regulations
• Ensuring that the accounting records of the college are complete and accurate
• Providing efficient and responsive business services to the college community
• Distributing financial reports for management uses throughout the college

The TSC Business Services Office is responsible for :

• Accounts payable
• Audit management and financial reporting
• Journal accounting
• Cashier and cash management
• Payroll
• Fixed asset accounting
• Tax accounting and reporting
